Cristianos filmed for the BBC's 'One Show'

The BBC are to run a series of short features about common medical problems on their early evening program 'The One Show'. The series will be presented by the shows doctor Sarah Jarvis and will include a feature on unwanted hair. Cristianos were commissioned asked by the BBC to take part.

Unwanted and problem hair growth is top of the list when it comes to Sarah Jarvis’s post bag and the feature aims to bring the subject out in to the open. There will be discussion with Chris Hart and she will be seen performing treatment on a client who suffers with unwanted hair as a result of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. The client will convey the effect the problem has had on her both from the physical and the psychological perspective.

Filming took place in our London Clinic in March and it is anticipated that the feature will be screened in May. The viewing figures for The One Show are in excess of 5 million and we hope our participation will help to get the message across that the technology exists to solve the problem of unwanted hair growth.
